What Storage With a Mover Looks Like
The difference between this and renting a unit yourself is that you never touch it. A crew wraps and inventories everything at your door, loads it, and it goes into storage as a sealed lot with your name on it. When you are ready, the same operation runs in reverse.
You are not hiring a van, finding a trolley, or discovering that the unit you booked online is up a flight of stairs.

How Storage Works, Start to Finish
1. Volume and dates. Roughly how many rooms, and roughly how long. Both can change later.
2. Rate and monthly cost. An hourly rate for the two moves, and a clear monthly figure for the space.
3. Collection day. Everything wrapped, inventoried and loaded, then straight into storage as one sealed lot.
4. Redelivery. Give us a few days notice and it comes back, placed and reassembled at the new address.
How Your Things Are Protected
Furniture goes in wrapped rather than bare: blankets on the timber, covers on mattresses and sofas, film over the lot. Nothing is stacked directly on concrete.
The inventory is numbered and photographed at collection, so what comes back is checked against what went in rather than against anybody’s memory nine months later.
Notice Periods and Access
Storage runs month to month. Give us a few days notice to bring things back, and a week or so if a full house has to be redelivered on a specific morning.
This is not a self-storage unit you can visit at 11pm, and that is the trade: it is cheaper per cubic foot and nobody but our crew handles your things. If you need a specific item pulled out mid-term, we can arrange that with notice.
Storage FAQs
How much does storage cost?
Storage is priced monthly by the volume you actually use, and the two moves either side are charged at our hourly rate. A one-bedroom flat takes far less space than people expect, and a full house rather more. We give you both figures once we know roughly what is going in.
How long can I keep things in storage?
From a fortnight to several years. It runs month to month, so you are not locked into a term and you can extend when a completion slips.
Can I get something out mid-term?
With notice, yes. Tell us what you need and we will locate and release it. It is not a unit you can drop into on a Sunday, which is precisely why it costs less and stays secure.
Is my furniture insured while it is stored?
Full replacement protection covers your goods in storage as well as in transit. If anything you own is unusually valuable, flag it at the inventory stage so it is recorded properly.
Do you store business inventory and files?
Yes. Office furniture, stock and archive boxes are regular work, usually between leases or during a fit-out. Archives are kept in order so a specific box can be pulled rather than the whole pallet.
What if my dates change at the last minute?
Tell us as soon as you know. Extending storage is straightforward; the part that needs notice is redelivery, especially for a full house on a specific morning.
